The easiest way to create a button is to do the following:
- Install the new Google Toolbar Beta (only works with Explorer).
- Go to a site and place the cursor in the search box.
- Right click and select “Generate Custom Button”
- Click “Add” and then "OK"
That’s it folks, check out your toolbar and you should see the button there.

Just follow these easy 4 steps:
- Make sure that the exact same button you're submitting doesn't exist already in our gallery (from the same site).
- Create your button (very important not to skip this step)
- Grab the XML of your button
- Go to submit form and fill in all the required fields (so we know under what categories etc..) .
- Press send.

| How did we come up with this idea? |

We saw that Google created a great tool, but we couldn't find any of the buttons that we were looking for in Google Custom Button Gallery. We started creating our own buttons but then we had no place to share them with the web.
So we created this site so everyone can have a place to store and share their custom buttons.. One thing led to another and here we are.

Click on the ‘Settings’ button on the Google Toolbar and select ‘Options’.
- Choose the ‘Button’ tab.
- Pick the button you want and select ‘Edit’
- Select the ‘Use advanced editor’ and a new window will open up with your code.
